    As one of the Stevenson advisers, I help students with all aspects of their academic goals. Besides helping students choose courses, decide on a major, work out enrollment problems, get help with their academic standing, and navigate the university bureaucracy, I like to help students take advantage of the many educational opportunities available at UCSC (Education Abroad, UCDC, internships, research, individual study and more) and seek out faculty mentors.

    When you have any general question come see me in the College Office. I am familiar with the college and university services, and can be a valuable resource for you. I provide general support to the staff such as scheduling meetings for the CAO and Academic Advisors. I maintain your academic file with your unofficial transcripts, and petitions. I also maintain the student roster, mail box assignments and maintain schedule for the Silverman Conference Room (Stevenson 131).  In addition, Gustavo is the webmaster for the Stevenson College website.

    As the interim Assistant College Programs Coordinator and Event Center Manager my duties include overseeing and maintaining the Stevenson Event Center and Fireside Lounge, the Stevenson Event Staff and providing support for the CPC in the Programs Office. As a recent graduate of UCSC I can talk to you about academic and residential life at the university, so feel free to drop into the Programs Office. I also have a pet guinea pig named Gilroy, am a semi-professional model and an award-winning baker.

    I supervise the day-to-day operation of the Stevenson Coffee House. I have 25-30 student employees that serve specialty coffees, homemade baked goods soups, salads, and sandwiches at very reasonable prices. The Coffee House is home to lively music, informal student/faculty interactions, biweekly art shows and more. I can be reached for catering, comments, compliments and any feed back Monday through Friday at (831) 459-2433.

    The CSOs are here to guarantee and ensure your privacy and well being by enforcing college and university policies at night. We are available for any and all emergencies which may occur from 7:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m., seven days a week, including holidays and campus closures. If you need any type of assistance or just need a resource for many of your campus questions call 459-2100 and a CSO will be radio dispatched to you.
