ER #0327, Stevenson Work Tech Crew

This is a position of great responsibility in the Stevenson Event Center (large venue space, serving Stevenson College and the greater campus).  You would run all audio and visual equipment in the Event Center.  You would also be required to set up tables and chairs as needed by the customer.  Must be detail-oriented and self-motivator.  Please contact Gustavo Nolazco, Stevenson College Event Center Manager, gus@ucsc.edu, if you have any questions. 

ER #0329, Stevenson Mailroom Assistant

This is a position of great responsibility in the student mailroom. You would sort and distribute U.S. mail and packages. Assistants are responsible for maintaining mailbox assignments and key inventory. Must be detail-oriented. Frosh preferred. We can only hire students with work study awards. ER #6220, Housing Assistant at the Cowell and Stevenson Residential Life and Housing Office

Work at our busy front desk helping students and parents with a variety of housing and campus questions, also issue keys, and make appointments with staff.  Check students in and out of housing and complete room inspections.  Update key database and inventory keys.  This Work Study position is for 10 hours per week when school is in session, with the possibility of increased hours during school breaks.  Required skills and abilities include effective communication skills, sensitivity in handling confidential information, ability to take initiative, excellent organizational skills, flexibility and ability to work as part of a team.  Questions may be directed to Gabriela Alaniz, Office Coordinator, gealaniz@ucsc.edu.
