Humanist Alliance of Stevenson (HAS)
The Humanist Alliance of Stevenson (HAS) is a Stevenson-based organization founded in 2010 by students with a passion for the ideals and practices of humanism. HAS strives to focus on our similarities as a community, rather than our differences. Because HAS concentrates on the equalizing factor of humanism, our main goals involve standing up for basic human rights, as well as being active in both the Stevenson and Santa Cruz community. Membership is free, and open to anyone in the community, however, members are expected to be active in community service projects, working together as a team to achieve common goals. No official positions aside from chair are held; however, members are equally delegated responsibilities based on their particular strengths and areas of interest.
