Like hundreds of other Stevenson students, you may find that you want some help with your writing. Maybe you have a paper you can’t get started on or you’re struggling with a reading assignment, the Stevenson’s Academic Assistants are here to help.

Academic Assistants are upper division students who have taken Core, write well and want everyone to have a rewarding academic experience. They can help you write clearly and effectively while developing your own style. They work on any kind of writing ranging from Core papers to papers for other classes to applications. They also work with writing at any stage: blank pages, rough drafts, substantial revisions and papers with instructor’s comments. They can also provide suggestions about study techniques, effective writing styles, time management and taking exams.

Last year more than two-thirds of Stevenson’s first-year students saw an academic assistant, and here are some of their comments:
